Carnival party at the International Montessori Academy
Carnival party!
Today at the Academy, we are celebrating carnival. We dance, sing, play instruments, and dress up in various costumes. Preschool groups and their teachers have dressed up in costumes representing cultures and ethnic groups worldwide. We get to know other cultures and learn respect and tolerance.
Meanwhile, at school, students dressed up as their favourite musical artists. We are practising public speaking - talking about the artist of their choice, discussing musical preferences, as well as singing and having fun.
