An amazing result from the Christmas Fair – we raised nearly 19,000 PLN for Zosia!

Dear Friends!

It is with immense gratitude and emotion that we announce that during this year’s Christmas Fair, we managed to raise as much as 18,827.90 PLN! This result has exceeded our wildest expectations and is a testament to the incredible power of our community when we unite for a worthy cause.

The atmosphere was truly magical. Stalls overflowing with hand-painted wooden ornaments and Christmas cards, the aroma of homemade cakes and grilled delicacies, and above all, the smiles of our students, teachers, and guests—all of this created an unforgettable experience. We would also like to extend special thanks to our guests from Spain (visiting as part of the Erasmus+ program), who brought so much warmth and energy to the event. We intended to write individual thank-yous to everyone involved, but Zosia’s Mom said it best. Her words most fully capture what happened during the fair. Please read this moving letter:

"I want to thank every single person involved in helping my Zosia. From the preschoolers to the school children, teachers, artists, parents, and organizers. To every mom who baked a cake. To every dad who made Christmas trees and beautiful structures. To the gentleman who took those unique holiday photos, and the teacher who drew the stunning cards. To our Spanish guests for their warmth, empathy, and openness. I was enchanted by every single detail, even the smallest ones. The sheer amount of work put into the preparations—I know how much time that takes... The beautiful performances by talented dancers! The cakes were crafted with love, and every handmade soap held so much magic it seemed to glow from miles away. The Palace created an atmosphere I never expected. The festive fountain was the perfect backdrop for photos, and the inflatable arches added so much charm to the venue. I felt cared for and seen. Seen, but not pointed at. Seen with love, not with pity. With that warm, kind presence that is so hard to find these days... It is impossible to find words to express the immense good you have created! I am only just beginning to believe it... Only now am I crying, unable to grasp that in such a short time, so many people were able to fully commit to helping my little daughter. Zosia’s therapy will last for the rest of her life. The costs will always be enormous—anyone who truly cares for a child with special needs knows what that means. But thanks to you, I can stop thinking about fundraising for a moment and feel peace for the coming months."
