World Cat Day - 17th February
On this day we could not miss a furry guest. The Montessori Academy was visited by Chronos, a seven-year-old Siberian with pedigree which no cat would be ashamed of. Chronos visited all kindergarten and school groups. He was eagerly acquainted with Montessori aids, especially those for math and Spanish. He bravely accepted all strokes, and there were really a lot of them. He talked a bit about his forest habits and customs, how he likes to lie up to the ceiling in his "cat base" every day, waiting for his favorite munchies or chicken fluff.
Thanks to him, the students also learned about the differences between a domestic Siberian cat and a free-roaming one, e.g. what size such cats are, how much they weigh and what kind of fur they have.
