A workshop introducing Maria Montessori pedagogy
On January 26, 2018, our Academy will host a workshop: "Introduction to the pedagogy of Maria Montessori".
The program:
- Maria Montessori - the concept of a child and upbringing.
- How does the child's brain learn? Assortative mind. Sensitive phases. Polarization of attention. Normalization.
- Prepared environment - Montessori classroom. Freedom, independence, lack of competition.
- Role of Montessori teacher.
- Outline of Maria Montessori pedagogy departments: practical everyday exercises, language education, mathematical education, space education, silent lessons, sensorics.
- Presentation of selected aids.
