Open doors at the Academy

Enrollment in the Montessori elementary school, preschool and nursery are underway. We invite you to the Open Door on April 21.

Program:

Montessori Bilingual Primary School

10.00 - Welcome: The idea, functioning and philosophy of the Academy, cooperation with parents (Ewelina Donatti, Joanna Berezowska).

10.20 - Membership of Polish Montessori Council and international school organizations which support bilingual schools globally.

10.30 - Demonstration Montessori math lesson (Joanna Berezowska).

11.00 - Memory School - memory and concentration training techniques, speed reading, effective learning methods (Iwona Mokrzan).

11.20 - Music lessons at the Academy, Creative Sing band (Patrycja Ciupa).

11.40 - Bilingualism (Joanna Berezowska).

12.00 - "Innovative teaching methods and information technologies - how to use them well". - Cogito 21 program, Skype in the Classroom, Pobble 365, Write About and many others. Academy plans for using information technology in the Montessori classroom

12.15 - Positive Discipline - Introduction to the program. Positive Discipline is a program that equips parents with the tools to build relationships with their children to set boundaries skillfully. It helps children become responsible, respectful and resourceful adults (Ewelina Donatti).

12.30-13.00 The first Montessori music school in Poland "Montessori Mozarts" Information meeting (Patrycja Ciupa).

During the meeting, parents will have the opportunity to talk to teachers and management, get acquainted with the daily schedule, see aids and the rooms. Children aged above five will be provided with care and various activities to choose from: painting on easels, physical activities, art classes.

Preschool and nursery - 1.00 p.m.

• Playing with an animation scarf.
• Indian competitions.
• Large-format painting.
• Bubble show.
• Music activities.
• Artistic activities.
• Outdoor cinema.

During the Open Day, parents will have the opportunity to talk to teachers and management. They will be able to get acquainted with the daily schedule and have the chance to see the Montessori preschool rooms and aids. Children remain in the custody of their parents.
