"Montessori STEPPING STONES" - adaptation program to Montessori preschool

"Montessori STEPPING STONES" - Adaptation Action!

We are pleased to inform you that we have started enrollment for the adaptation program: "Montessori STEPPING STONES", which will occur at our Academy from March 2019 to August 2019.

The program is designed for children who wish to begin their adventure with our Academy in September 2019.

The program is an excellent opportunity to begin adaptation at a pace that allows the child to calmly get used to the environment and staff of our preschool.

In our Academy, the issue of adaptation is treated very seriously. Children develop best in a place where they feel safe. The beginning of adaptation, which is very difficult for both the child and the parent, may influence the child's further development.

A friendly beginning is a comfort for both the child and the parent. We want all children to enter the environment of our Academy gently and safely.

Our adaptive program includes:

1. training and informational meeting for parents:

• introducing parents to Maria Montessori pedagogy,
• discussion on Parent's Guide, 
• organizational matters,
• adaptation.

2. 14 Adaptation Meetings (2 hours each)

• games and plays in Montessori circle,
• common meal preparation,
• working with Montessori materials,
• learning to be independent (eating, dressing, using the restroom)
• and many others. 

3. Participation in the family picnic.
4. Participation in open days.

During adaptation meetings, children will have the opportunity to get to know the Montessori environment, get to know the nursery staff and establish relationships with other children. Parents will have a chance to get to know the environment, meet parents of children who already attend our preschool and exchange experiences connected with children's adaptation in our Academy. 

Certified Montessori teachers run the program.
