Flag Day and 3rd of May Constitution Day
Flag Day and Constitution Day are excellent occasions to talk about national symbols.
In front of the Montessori Academy we hung the flag of Poland, the European Union and Great Britain. Children in the school and preschool have been learning about Polish national symbols - national emblem, colors of the flag and anthem. We talked about how to behave during the singing of the anthem, we made flags using our hands and paint brushes.
Now we know that "May Day" is not only about resting, but also about celebrating!
