A flower meadow for pollinators
A flower meadow was created today at our Academy.
Flower meadows are not only a recently popular urban fashion but above all:
- an insect-friendly environment,
- a good substrate for water retention,
- a larger air-filtering surface than a normal lawn,
- colourful decoration at different times of the year.
The flower meadow was designed by the parents of our students and made together by parents and children. Science combined with reality is our speciality.
I wonder what will grow out of it.
