Last Friday, the pupils of the non-public Montessori school went on a trip to Wałbrzych. In recent years, Wałbrzych's tourist and educational offer has been expanded to include a visit to an old mine, on the spoil heaps after coal mining you can enjoy geological workshops and search for fossilised plants, and there is also a porcelain museum.
This time the plan was to take a classic tour of the Książ Castle and the Palm House.
At the castle, pupils took part in age-appropriate history workshops, while at the Palm House a special task awaited them, involving finding plants from a brochure and marking their origins on an accompanying map. The naturalist's work was enjoyed by all and they were eager to find the plants on the list.
