Autumn has already set in for good. The first frosts are appearing, and our flower meadow is signaling to us the approaching end of the growing season.
It's raining and we're happily bouncing around in wellies and playing in our new mud kitchen. In it we practice preparing mud muffins, making masa and concoctions for all-purpose use :)
Autumn provides us with free and eco-friendly materials for artwork. Art from leaves we like very much, you can create a lot from them. See for yourself in the gallery.
Plants, admittedly, are getting ready for winter, but with us we are having botany lessons. We are learning all about the life cycle of plants and learning Montessori lessons - the history of plants. Preschoolers also learn about zoology and botany, developing their natural desire to explore their surroundings.
By undertaking many activities, we break the autumn boredom and fatigue. Autumn is as good a time as any!
