Our pupils and teachers coming from different countries make the academy like a kaleidoscope of cultures. Throughout the year, we have the opportunity to learn about customs, traditions, festivals and religions from distant corners of the Earth. By experiencing this from an early age, pupils become more open-minded, tolerant, curious about the world and other people.
Like every year, we learnt about the festival of Diwali - celebrated in India. Mrs Reshma, in collaboration with the parents, prepared a special setting in the form of clothes, decorations, food and a presentation about how Diwali is celebrated in India and its origins.
