This is probably the main theme of this year's carnival at the International Montessori Academy. We included a series of meetings with parents presenting their professions in our carnival, selecting appropriate costumes.

We want to help our students shape their awareness of future choices and decisions in a less formalized, natural and engaging way. We know that many eighth-graders are confused when faced with the need to choose a further path, which is why we try to sensitize, show and talk about what you can do as an adult at the earlier stages.

Because "clothes do not make the man", the opportunity to meet a real ship's officer, pilot, athlete, scientist, IT specialist was an inspiring experience. We were able to learn about various aspects of individual professions: difficulties, challenges, necessary competences to perform them, funny and dangerous situations that occur at work.

We would like to thank all parents for their willingness to share their professional experiences. We are sure that for many children such meetings can be a spark, something that will help them in their dreams and first decisions.
