On 25 March we celebrated - World Tolkien Reading Day.
We held a calligraphy workshop at the Academy and watched a multimedia presentation that transported us to the magical world of Tolkien. We learned about J.R.R. Tolkien's biography and were introduced to his amazing works such as "The Hobbit", "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Silmarillion".
We read excerpts from 'The Hobbit' in various translations and languages, including even the Silesian dialect! We used Elvish script, writing down favourite quotes from "The Hobbit" on large formats. We painted Hobbit burrows.
