It can be said that sometimes film make-up is a kind of embellishment to make a film uglier and scarier, and at the same time terrifyingly realistic:) I think everyone is curious how it happens that actors come out of dramatic film scenes unscathed.
Thanks to our colleague Irma's Mum, who is a make-up artist by profession, we were able to find out for ourselves - literally. Irma's Mum has helped to ‘get fake injuries’ on more than one film set.
During the workshop, everyone had the opportunity to ‘get a plum under the eye’, get a cut or at least a solid abrasion. Now we know what it looks like ‘from behind the scenes’ in Hollywood.
